For too long, the Commissioners Court has operated with little transparency, passed massive debt without voter approval, and put special interests ahead of the people who live here. The result has been higher costs, weaker accountability, and decisions that don’t reflect the values or needs of District 2 families.
Barry Wernick will bring a different approach.
As an independent watchdog with zero conflicts of interest and no radical associations, Barry will fight to restore real accountability to local government. He will work to limit government overreach, protect taxpayer dollars, and ensure that the people of District 2 — not political machines — come first.
